Brian Grachek gets a two-year extension, interim tag removed
Although terms of the deal weren’t disclosed, it’s reportedly a two-year contract.
The 26-year-old Grachek was named interim Power Of Attorney in October of 2008 at the time when the company was considered to be in “crisis mode”.
Both Chris Cronus and Jason Bane left the company for the allure of television. Jake Crist was involved in an incident where his actions were beyond unprofessional. News of Johnny Gargano’s severe back injury had just began to surface. Behind the scenes management was not only in a bitter contract dispute with Aaron Maguire, but given an ultimatum, Dave Logan or Myke Quest.
Grachek introduced new company policies, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes effective immediately and the direction of the company changed instantly.
Theory of Evolution: Championship Edition and Don’t Call It A Comeback were the first events held under the Grachek regime and was considered huge successes, both professionally and financially.
