In an interview while in the Phillipines to promote WWE, former World Heavyweight Champion Batista, who is currently recovering from a torn hamstring, said he had "at least one year left" and wanted "to finish that year strong".
A couple weeks ago, WWE said they were expecting that Batista would be back in the ring sometime in May, which would be three months earlier than expected after "The Animal" underwent surgery to repair the torn hamstring he suffered.
On a side note, Batista turned 40 years old back in January

While in the Philippines recently to promote WWE, Batista was asked how much longer he saw himself wrestling. Batista, who just turned 40 this year (although his age has been speculated on for years now), said he had at least one year left and wanted to finish that year strong. As reported on earlier, WWE was expecting Batista to be back in the ring sometime in May as of two weeks ago. This would be around three months earlier than originally expected after he underwent surgery to repair a hamstring tear.

I don't really see him going just one more year in the company; I give him at least 5. But if he says so, then so be it.

I heard JBL might be done here soon with wrestling. Idk, heard it somewhere, the same place I heard Batista was going to go within 1-2 years.
