Necro Butcher v. The Predator, - – Now THIS is what I call a fight. I'm still convinced that Bryan Danielson is probably the best thing going outside of the WWE, but after him, I don't think you can seriously say its NOT the Necro Butcher. This guy has had a ton of really unique stuff over the years thats been slept on that I feel blows a lot of his sort of pedestrian ROH work out of the water. This is another one of those matches that if you're not paying super close attention, you'd miss. And its these kinds of matches that fall by the wayside unfortunately.
Predator can't decide if he's Bruiser Brody, Rhino or Stan Hansen. In his mind he's all things, and heck, he's a big guy so who'll tell him otherwise? Guy is a bruiser. And Butcher seems like he's the only guy crazy enough to want to fight him. Necro takes a spectacular beating here and make no mistake about it, these two LAY into each other. That's a good thing, too, because Necro might have the best punches in DA BIZ today.
Necro's sort of the good guy I guess, or at least certainly feels that way, which is weird, because that's not the role we see him in, but he's darn good at it. He eats some punches to the head, lets himself get totally crushed into the ring post and eats a nasty back suplex on the outside. He does a great job with his comeback spots as they're fleeting, desperate and altogether awesome. They tease a fantastic count out ending before Necro has his last minute, desperate attempt at a comeback that features the most awesomely terrible looking hurricanranna attempt you've ever seen. Necro tried to 'chop down' the proverbial tree only to catch a boot. He gets blown to pieces with a belly to belly and even though he kicks out of the near fall, you know this is pretty much a done deal. The Predator slaps on a front choke and after a brief tussle, Butcher finally gives in, but only after Predator drop a triton missile on his head.
Everyone can see a performance of his in the movie "wrestler" that can only showcase his talent even more for the fans .
