Full list of rookies for season three NXT

As noted in last night's WWE NXT report by Mike Tedesco, season three of WWE NXT will consist of all rookie Divas from FCW with WWE Pros. Here is the full list of talent slated to be involved:

Naomi (WWE Pro: Kelly Kelly)
Maxine (WWE Pro: Alicia Fox)
Aksana (WWE Pro: Goldust)
Jamie (WWE Pros: The Bella Twins)
AJ Lee (WWE Pro: Primo)
Aloisia (WWE Pro: Vickie Guerrero)

Whether or not this will be a four week season remains to be seen as NXT will end on SyFy effective September 28 with Smackdown debuting live days later on October 1. One word making the rounds is that they may move the show to WWE.com if they are unable to secure a new TV deal in the next few weeks for the program.

Thoughts

Well another season bites the dust and it appears that this show itself will soon bite the dust as they won't have a TV deal in about four weeks.
Nothing against women's wrestling but the fact is they're not a main focus of any of WWE's big shows so I have to give a bold prediction and say that this seals the fate for the NXT concept. It's no secret that the ratings have been poor for the show and even SyFy, yes, SyFy, doesn't want them taking a timeslot on their channel anymore (I wonder how their regular shows outside of Ghost Hunters fare). The decision to make this an all divas roster will probably lower the ratings even more and kill NXT off for good. I'm not a misogynist. It's just my opinion.

NXT Season 3 Preview.

I won't waste much time on previewing this season the way I did with Season 2, because there was just good talents on paper to compile a lengthy review. So for this season I will keep it brief , but I will try and provide some information that I did collect from these six divas.

ROOKIE #1 – Naomi (Pro is Kelly Kelly)

Overview: Naomi wrestles in FCW as Naomi Knight and is the promotion's Divas Champion. Based on what I saw in some of her matches, she is ok. She was awful when she debuted, but really came along in mere months. She is the darkhorse in this competition.

The Pairing: I think the pairing with Kelly Kelly is pretty good. Naomi was a heel at times in FCW, so I don't know if the scripted pairing could work.

ROOKIE #2 – Maxine (Pro is Alicia Fox)

Overview: In FCW, she was known as Liviana. All I saw from her was that she took a lot of bumps and when she was in control, she did an average job. Her gimmick as one that likes good taste is exactly her gimmick in FCW.

Pairing: Although David Stephens is fuming at this "pro", I don't see a problem with this. Fox and Maxine could mesh well as a pro/rookie pairing. However, I don't expect much from Maxine.

ROOKIE #3 – Aksana (Pro is Goldust)

Overview: I will admit, I never saw her wrestle. Not one time. All I remember was that she was kidnapped from Eli Cottonwood and she was the "Tony Atlas" on the Abraham Washington Show in FCW.

Pairing: It will be bizarre and it is nice to see Goldust on TV. Aksana may be the most beautiful diva on this rookie roster, but I don't expect much from her. Not one bit.

ROOKIE #4 – Jamie (Pros are the Bella Twins)

Overview – Don't let her looks fool you, she has an incredible physique. is not terrible in the ring either, but has her moments. I have not seen a whole lot on Jamie, but I think at best she can survive a round or two.

Pairing: I don't like this one bit. Honestly, I think the worst divas in the WWE are the Bellas. I hope Jamie does not learn from them one bit.

ROOKIE #5 – AJ (Pro is Primo)

Overview – This will be your "Internet Darling" on this season's NXT. She probably is the most polished diva that the WWE has right now, and I think she will do fine. I may be far-fetched, but she may be on par with Melina (if Melina gets injured again, AJ will replace her instantly). The interesting fact here is that she is currently dating TNA's Jay Lethal. She is also known as "Miss April" and is currently the Queen of FCW (she defeated Serena for that title).

Pairing: Primo won't have to teacher her much. If anything, Primo may tick off AJ if he flirts with her too much. To be truthful, I think this is a great pairing. If AJ is successful, it could help Primo out as well.

ROOKIE #6 – Aloisia (Pro is Vickie Guerrero)

Overview – Who is this woman? I have honestly no idea who she is. But she is 6'9" and if she is any bit of athletic, I feel bad for the competition. If she can't move in the ring, again I feel bad for the competition. She is tall and apparently powerful.

Pairing: If Vickie upsets this woman, I feel bad for Vickie. Honestly, power and power may work well. And in the future who know? This could be Vickie's bodyguard. But seriously, why is Vickie a pro?

brief prediction on NXT's Season Three Winner

6) Aksana – I don't think Goldust can even help her out.
5) Maxine – She may be good, but I don't see much in her to make it far.
4) Jamie – I think her appearance will help her go far, but let's see what she can do in the ring.
3) Aloisia – If she is athletic, she will be #1. If not, she will be #5. So I went with the middle.
2) Naomi – If Naomi continues to improve, she will make the season interesting.
1) AJ – She may be the smallest, but I think the votes will be hers. She fits well with the WWE fans.

So, my prediction right now is going to be AJ. Let's hope I win this prediction.

According to The Wrestling Observer, the reason behind WWE pulling the 6'9, 240 pound woman known as Aloisia (Lindsay Hayward) from the third season of NXT is because she was deemed not ready. Why they decided to make her part of season three, promote her on Tuesday and then decide she wasn't ready remains to be seen. She remains under contract with WWE and they did an online angle with Vickie Guerrero "firing" her from the show.

It is being reported that the real reason behind the 6-foot 9 Diva Aloisia being pulled from NXT Season 3 is due to some “erotic” photos that are lurking online. PWInsider.com reports that WWE has not looked too fondly on this with their current PG stance and Linda McMahon's Senate race.

Aloisia has not been released from the company and the Vickie Guerrero 'firing' was simply an angle to pull her from NXT. She is expected to be sent back to Florida Championship Wrestling.
