I have watched the tapes of the show from thsi past weekend and I noticed several people sitting in the audience filming entire matches with their Digital cameras. Now I am not going to ban digital cameras all together because I enjoy the pictures that you fans take and I know that is a big part of the show for IPW fans, and that is getting your picture with your favorite IPW star at Intermission. What i am going to do is this, If I see you filming a match with a digital camera, you will be asked to come to the side and we will delete the file from your camera and you will be asked to leave. With the normal fan sitting in the crowd and filming shows, takes away from potential DVD sales. DVD sales help fund IPW shows and if people are filming the shows on thier digital cameras, how is IPW supposed to take care of the wrestlers and keep producing shows each month for you the fans. I hope everyone understands IPW's stance on this and I hope you all can respect this request.

I have a digital camera but never have taped one of the shows with it. I support the wrestlers in anyway I can so I would never dream of taping it. Great show last month.

I never take videos with my digital camera. I love taking pictures of the matches, and with wrestlers during intermission, I can guarantee you that you'll only see my snapping pictures all the time, thats how get like 600-650 pictures for about every IPW show I go too! I'm glad your not banning use of Digital Cameras though, when I first saw the topic my heart almost broke! I love supplying everyone with my pictures too! I see a ton of IPW wrestlers using them on there Myspace page, and it makes me feel great to know the wrestlers liked them enough to show everyone that visits there page the pictures.

I'll be at Shocktober Fest for sure though! I can't wait to get some more good pictures to share with everyone! I'm going to have to try and take twice the amount this time to make up for missing last month's show!

So is it ok to just take short clips, of say a move or two, or part of a match? Not an ENTIRE match?

Quick question, is it okay to make music videos, from IPW DVDs we have purchased, to put on YouTube?

Getting the name's of the wrester's out there should be the main concern considering if we dont know who they are why would you a ticket to that show???"promoting" is is often just a word that alot don't get it's not just for the show that they are appearing on locally it might be something that help's there career down the road if done properly.

Promoting has nothing to do with fans recording matches from their seats. It takes money out of the promotion's and the wrestler's pockets, because why would that fan buy a DVD with that match on it, if they just sat and recorded it for free?
If a wrestler wants a certain match recorded to put on YouTube, I don't see a problem there. The problem that Mike was seeing were fans recording matches for themselves...

IPW , should be the only one to give the OK to record anything on the show . For it is their show , not the wrestlers or the fans , plus the DVD's are at a very cheap price to buy , and this helps in the paid the wrestlers & rent of the building .
Sorry , but the fans are still lucky to have the digital cameras at the shows to shoot pictures of the matchs .------------or would you like them taken away too??-----my answer is a very big NO-NO.
Now there has been a few wrestlers using a DVD camera to shoot a match are two --but this is with the permission of IPW at the time . For Louis Linaris , has done this before .

Yea Louis Linaris had somebody in the audience during 2007's Insanity Rulez show record two different matches----they're both on his youtube account. I'm so glad the fans are lucky and fortunate enough to bring in our digital cameras to snap pictures of the shows to keep for a lifetime. I'd be very sad if digital cameras were to be banned from shows for I won't have anything to have to remember from IPW's shows besides the DVDs.

We are updating this due to the fact that a couple people (who will go nameless) were caught video taping matches during the last show. This will not be tolerated. If you are caught doing this from here on out you will not be warned, you will be escorted to the door and we will delete the file from your digital camera or cell phone and you will be ejected from the building.
Thank you IPW ownership Group

It's nice to see this policy updated..I think it's wrong if anybody would just sit at the show, & record the whole show. Thanks IPW, for taking care of this manner & ejecting those, who would do such a thing !
