Since I am proud to be working for IPW as an official, I wanted to share this with the IPW community.
I referee for the HWA out of Cincinnati as well, and I have been having some issues recently with another HWA referee, Danny O'Brien.
For those asking Danny was working dark matches for IPW back in May 2009.
Danny was suspended by The HWA Management for making mistakes that were "unbecoming of a referee".
In recent weeks Danny has lobbied and petitoned to be reinstated and even came to me for his support which i refused. I told him that mistakes like what he made are unforgivable in my line of work, and he should have worked harder if he wanted to keep his job.
He then made this a physical issue by attacking me and breaking my thumb last week, which for those who were at IPW last Saturday saw my hand heavyily taped and braced.
After many emails and calls to the HWA Management about this situation, the announcement was made as the fans have asked for it.
ON WEDNESDAY JUNE 24TH AT HWA'S FIGHT @ THE OPERA..
FOR REFEREE DANNY O'BRIEN'S CONTRACT.
REFEREE BRANDON TOLLE
VS.
DANNY O'BRIEN
IF BRANDON TOLLE WINS, DANNY O BRIEN IS TERMINATED WITH THE HWA.
IF DANNY O'BRIEN WINS HE IS REINSTATED AS AN OFFICIAL.
The show starts at 7:30 PM @ The Sorg Opera House in Middletown, OH. Tickets are only 5.00$
I would appreciate any support from the IPW community as I step into the ring for the first time ever.
I will also be keeping a blog of my training and events going into the match, that can be viewed by visiting the HWA website @ www.hwaonline.com
