With next week's big three-hour edition of "Monday Night RAW" taking place in Charlotte, North Carolina, Ric Flair is expected to be revealed as Vickie Guerrero's replacement as the show's General Manager.
Flair is on the verge of re-signing with WWE, if he hasn't done so already. Flair himself has stated that he won't wrestle again, so it's obvious that the GM position would fit him well.
As you may recall, Vickie Guerrero resigned as "Monday Night RAW" GM last night, and it has since been announced that she is leaving WWE for good in order to spend more time with her daughters.

Drug testing was scheduled to be taking place at all major WWE shows this past weekend and creative has already been given a list of guys who would be unavailable starting with next week's Monday Night Raw taping in Charlotte, NC reports The Figure Four Weekly Newsletter. So it is possible we could see some new suspensions or more releases from the company this week or next week.

If Flair gets GM I might as well quit watching WWE. Don't get me wrong I have nothing againist him but just look at the storyline with the "WWE title" right now.
Flair and HHH vs Legacy and one of Legacy still might turn againist him. Yeah, soo long on alot of that great heat on Randy. What now to do with him?
and I wanted a long title run... now look at it, no such thing as that anymore...

If Vickie Guerro leaves, I'm going to be pretty upset for awhile. I've enjoyed her work as GM since she first came into the scene back in 2007; it's going to take sometime to get used to it, let's see how it goes.
Legacy has a thing going on here about Ric Flair being GM. He's already involved in the Flair/HHH vs. Legacy storyline; I say if he's put GM it won't be fair because he'll be giving HHH all of the title shots, etc. & all of the other usual stuff that face GM's do.

As seen last night, Vickie Guerrero resigned from her position as the General Manager of Raw. Guerrero's profile has since been removed from the Raw roster section and transferred over to the WWE Alumni section, thus officially making her a former WWE Superstar.
According to a report by PWInsider, Vickie Guerrero has given her notice to WWE and tonight's segment on Monday Night Raw where she resigned as General Manager of Raw was a blowoff angle for her on air character. Guerrero cited a desire to spend more time at home with her daughters.
Update: It is possible that Guerrero will be used at Tuesday night's Smackdown/ECW tapings in Biloxi, MS tonight.

WWE was said to still be considering their options as of yesterday as to who they want to fill the open spot on TV as the General Manager of Raw reports PWInsider. The assumption among many wrestling fans is that Ric Flair would fit the role nicely, especially with Raw taking place this Monday in Charlotte, NC. Of course, WWE recently pulled Flair off TV to have him sell a punt to the head from Randy Orton and bringing him back to TV so early may not be an option considering everyone who has taken the punt has sold it and stayed off TV for a good amount of time.

Good point they want to sell that punt but it is Ric Flair. They might put a temp in for now...

Although nothing has been confirmed, there was definitely talk this week about putting Ric Flair in the now open spot for General Manager of Raw reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. This has already been speculating by many in the wrestling media with tomorrow night's big three-hour show taking place in Charlotte, NC. One negative would be bringing Flair back to TV just two weeks after he took a punt from Randy Orton, which most sell for a good amount of time before returning. As reported on a few months ago, WWE offered Flair the role of General Manager of Smackdown in April when they moved Vickie Guerrero to Raw. Flair turned the offer down at the time.
Comments : never say never in this business , with it being in Flair's hometown , watch out .

The angle of Vickie looking like a pig was started on the first TV taping after she gave her notice. This built to the "Hog Pen" match at Extreme Rules and was supposed to be her final angle. As stated earlier, Guerrero wants to be home more for her daughters. The last month of angles involving her character were designed as entertainment segments for the audience, although some in the company believe they took as many shots as possible over her weight and looks.
Guerrero was always scheduled to be a transitional General Manager for Raw.

WWE creative was given a list this week of talent not to book at the next set of TV tapings on 6/15 in Charlotte, NC and 6/16 in Roanoke, VA. In the past, the creative team was never told anything ahead of time regarding drug test failures and were only informed around the time the company was about to release that information publicly. This led to rumors that more suspensions and even releases could be coming soon. It is possible this was done so storylines could be setup to explain the absence of talent on TV instead of them just suddenly disappearing for 30 or 60 days. Based on what is known, creative also wasn't told directly why certain talent would not be available for the TV tapings.
