***BDK V.S. Naptown Dragon***
Tim Donst V.S. Scotty Vortekz
What do you get when you have 2 guys who can wrestle the lucha style? How about if one guy is a great mat wrestler, while the other one can kick really hard?
If you can't tell by now, I pretty much have been booking matches not only that I think the fans would enjoy, but what I would enjoy. Tim Donst is only 22, 23 years old and not only a fantastic wrestler but has amazing charisma. He has wrestled all over the United States and will be heading to Japan to wrestle later this month. He also is a Chikara Young Lions Cup holder. Tim has wrestled some of the best wrestlers in the world including having a amazing match with the WWE's Daniel Bryan a few months ago for Chikara's show in Michigan ("Must eat Michigans brain" Courtesy of smartmarkvideo.com). I am happy Tim is bringing his talents to Lafayette, Indiana on November 7th.
I have known Scotty Vortekz for a long time. I remember watching him and Clifton Crunk back in 2003, thinking these 2 could be very good. Since, Cliff has left wrestling, while Scotty has become the wrestler I knew he could be. I will always consider Scotty one of my favorite opponents. I hate his kicks:), but our matches just flowed together so well. Now, when you think of "Naptown Dragon", you think "death match". It is true, Scotty has competed in every single death match there is, including winning the prestigous CZW tournament of deatch in 2010. BUT! He is also a very good wrestler! He has been a IPW and CZW junior heavyweight champion and defeated Jon Moxley for the IPW World heavyweight title. His match with Gran Akuma in IPW in 2008 was awesome. You have to respect somebody who has put his body through so much abuse, but loves the business so much and keeps coming back for more. Come to Lafayette, support the wrestlers, support a great cause and lets pack this place. Why?
What do you get when 2 guys can wrestle the lucha style? How about if one is a great mat wrestler and while the other can kick really hard? A RECIPE FOR A GREAT MATCH!
