Thoughts on the show....

Whether the guardrails are there or not, you should be getting out of the way when the action comes towards you. Just sitting there when a wrestler comes flying out of the ring at you is a good way to get yourself hurt. The rails are not only there to protect you, but to also keep people from wondering around in areas that they shouldn't be in. There have been problems in the past with kids jumping up on the ring apron during matches, interfering with matches, or even getting into the ring. Those kinds of things just shouldn't happen. It's not a playground, it's "professional wrestling", and the goal is put on the most "professional" product possible. There should also be security at every show, but that's another issue. Honestly, I'd like to see IPW modeled more after Ring of Honor, and guess what, they use guardrails too. Unfortunately, they may be gone for awhile due to the health of the guy that rents them to us, but I like having them there.

The guardrails are okay. I am short so it is kind of hard to see over them. But I thinks all IPW shows are awesome and will be at every show they have. As for the kids being on the ring or in the ring don't you think there parents should be watching them better? Love the shows Mike keep up the great work.

I like the gaurd rails, it gives the children who run around fair warning not to go near the ring, the wrestlers are trying to do thier job and the kids honestly arent helping at all

The guard rails are there not only to protect fans, but the wrestlers as well. Kids are not the only factor, as I have seen adult fans that have interfered with things too. Bottom line is that the guard rails are a good idea.

They are okay but Im short too and it is hard to see over them

As a fan of IPW and thinking about what everyone has put on this post of what should happen and not.
My opinion is only this :
1)--I hate the guard rails ---but they look good and professional, they do keep some of the kids away from the ring ---they give the wrestlers some room to work outside of the ring---and you can see thru them (their not solid like WWE's are) at least the people in the back can still see some of the action---.
2)--KIDS--yes just sometimes I ask myself ---"where are the parents at "--but kids will always be kids and try to get away with things.--it would not be right not haveing them there---the most are doing things in the right way and you see on their faces that they really like seeing the show.
3)--IPW ---PLEASE do not try and copy another organization or their shows---you put together a show that is one of the best in the state going and you have set your own standard very high with only some trying to copy you out there. So just stay the same and only improve your self in your way of doing things and let the others follow you.
4)--Sorry --but you small people could go set in the bleachers up high and see just as good or better then the front row and keep standing up to block the views of the one's behind you.
I know that some will get very mad at what I just said here but I am not trying to be a butt here --just letting you know that I can't see thru you only.
5) now for the SECURITY guys --let's see --yes you need them at the shows but not inside of the guardrails (they get in the way of seeing the wrestlers ),but on the outside in the back of the crowd to watch them . A good security can get to the problem before it happens 99% of the time and not get in the way of the show.
6) now if IPW does need this security (please)-Mike get with me on this --I can work something out for you .---oldschool.

You cant see thru us (you go sit on the bleachers) and we cant see over the rails and there are shorter rails available and if we wanted to sit in the bleachers we would (not trying to be a "butt" either)

I do set in the bleachers and in the back of the building at the shows. Was only thinking of the one's that are behind you when you stand -up to cheer for your favorite wrestler and keep standing .

I personally only stand and cheer when they come out then I sit my butt down so I must not be who you are thinking I am. Anyway it doesn't matter I will stand and holler and yell as long as I am able. They people behind me never complain they know we sit there every month and they choose to sit behind us so??!?!?! I really didn't think we caused any problems myself

wrestlingfan22---now my friend ---I was Not just talking about you --just what I see at the shows happening only ---your just taking this so personally and I did not want to single any one person out on this at all. I just want to see everyone have a GREAT time at the shows --so they will come back to see more ---and that is only what I want for IPW is more FANS to come to the shows ONLY.
If you want to talk about this more then please come up to me at the shows and we can work someing out to keep you happy !---I just want to see a packed house for IPW--only. But you just can't please everyone all the time --but IPW does try so very hard to do this for the FAN'S to come back to more shows . That is why they are the BEST SHOW in the Indianapolis area going today !!!!

Old School us "small people" have big attitudes Im not trying to be a "butt" I love IPW and attend every show they have I also try to bring someone new with me when I can. IPW has never let me down - guardrails or no guardrails, Air conditoning or not!!! I will be there!!!
