Just simply don't see a true threat of IWA being better then IPW on the horizon here . As both only work the best talent to see in the sport today at their shows . One works in ILL. and the other works here in IND. --the problem here is the both are having shows on the same night .--One is running more shows in a month then the other ! This only leads to more pay-days to look at as a wrestler with some exposure in the sport . I only look at the problem here as just a cult into one of the entertainment world's most lucrative industries , as one promoter trys to out do the other in the business. This is their job to do just for the fans at every show , to make that show something to remember for the fans that pay the money to see the shows .
Is IWA better then IPW --NO--they both work the best talent in the business today to entertain the fans at the shows , as both put together shows that they can be very proud of in the end . Are or do they both steal the talent from each other to perform for the people that buy the tickets at the shows ??--Could they both be stealing the talent from the other organizations in this business at times . --YES---if you want to look at it that why here .
But I do believe this is only the nasty nature of the business at times --guaranteed it looks bad at times as a fan , twisted as it seems its the way this works out for some . Appearance is frustrating to some that challenge the actions of others on their thoughts of right and wrong on things . It is just the way things work out in the end that is enlightment to some and cantankerous to others in this business of only entertaining the paying customer at the shows .
The big question here is --Was the show really hurt by the actions of the Soul Shooters ??--NO!!
Should they "apologized" to the fans for choosing another group over IPW ??--NO!! But the fans should and can SHOW their reactions to the fact that they are a little upset on that choose of actions --when are if they return back to IPW soon .
Let just look at this for a minute here ---Shooters are just getting at the age of getting older --as we all are --and maybe choose a look at more exposure (more shows to work) before their bodys get to that point of breaking down . See, if the bodys still can take that bumps and tough falls , plus chair shots , dislocation of joints and broken limbs , scarred foreheads , that is infront of them in IWA-wrestling then more power to them . Wrestling is a performance art that extorts a toll and all accepted the risks of the profession , as they wrestle in the IWA-MID-SOUTH organization at each and every show . For this group lives on the blood that their fans only scream for at the shows to see every time .
So, sometimes they could get someone to pay some attention and chant their names for it to be good or bad , it just doesn't matter as long as the names are getting chanted and talk about here . It's only the dream that drives all the wrestlers in the business , today .
Saying that IWA is better then IPW --SORRY --I just don't buy that at all . For the both of the groups have their own fan base to please in the end . As the attendance is the same for both at the shows --so no winners here on that point .

i agree oldschool, however if i was looking for a brutal deathmatch i would go to IWA, if a was looking for a technical match i would go to IPW, and they DO both have the best indie wrestlers around

Iwa is not better.. Don't get me wrong I like IWA but I would much rather watch a IPW show over an IWA show anynight..And yes i agree with anfguy chickenleg you are a thingy. The fans moto for IPW is "Our fans will kick your fans a$$" What does IWA have for a logo.. Screw IWA if you had any sense you would only attend IPW shows..

and thanks srs1fan for calling me a "thingy?" it's a board filter for a swear word. This whole argument is redundant.. So many of the same talents are used, I'm not even sure how it can be an argument.. Drake Younger, Sami Callihan, "Quick" Carter Gray, up until recently Scotty Vortekz, and now the Soul Shooters. That's what happens when groups run the same areas. they share talent. I don't see any huge arguments over "OMGZ IPW IS BETTER THAN LUCHACORE, LUCHACORE IS STEALING TALENTS!!!". It's using independant wrestlers when they are avalible. This whole crying over spilled milk thing is downright insane.. You didn't see anyone in IWA crying and carrying on when Danny Havoc, Drake Younger, Diehard Dustin, Scotty Vortekz, Michael Elgin, and Fire Ant were all booked for IPW the same night as IWA was running a show, and it was Elgin & Fire Ant's debuts. Big deal, it happens.. and people get over it.. It's wrestling. why can't everyone just watch everything? If you don't want to watch something.. it's really simple.. don't. Don't buy the DVDs. But just remember.. IPW only runs one weekend a month.. Guys need places to work the other 3 weekends a month.. And considering the nutshole that Indiana indy wrestling is these days, it's smart to look to bigger things out of state.
