At this point, I have realized that I am saddened for the loss to the "Wrestling" world for the death of Chris Benoit. But how can I feel sad when I look at the circumstances. The man took the life of his wife and child. Was this drug related? If so, then I feel pain and remorse for the lives taken, but anger for the wives wasted. If it was depression/mental illness? Then I feel deeply saddened that no one recognized the pain that this man was going through and he wasn't helped in time. What I do know is this. You will not hear me mourn for Chris Benoit the wrestler. But for the entire Benoit family . I believe that is what is right. To mourn the wrestling side of this would be selfish on my part, but to think of the other people involved, that is what I must do. They are the ones in my prayers. To Nancy's family, her other child with Kevin Sullivan, to Chris's other children with his former wife. To you I pray strength and understanding. And to all of us out here, who are left wondering why. I pray understanding and closure. I wonder what would have happened if Chris wasn't in an occupation that kept him away from home four out of seven days a week. Could the "Road" have finally conquered him? I only have questions. I pray that all of you understand what I am trying to say here, my thoughts are in many different directions and I know it can be hard to follow. But understand, there is always a better alternative than what happened here. No matter how bad the situation seems.

I agree with you Greg. Its a sad situation. To take your own life is one thing, but to take the lives of your wife and child is horrible. I hope this is a wakeup call to people struggling with depression and/or drug abuse to seek help. My prayers are with his family.

Greg ---great post ---you said it all. But the lost of lives the world has seen in this business is on the fast track of shocking . Is it the drugs or fast life that has put so many down in this trade? Is it the "road" that kills ??
