Ian Rotten vs Corey Shaddix vs Devon Moore. Shaddix can take a ton of punishment. but loses in the end, ian and moore advance. ian tells moore than he wants him tommorow night, and moore agrees

Whacks vs. Danny Havoc vs. Nick Gage**********danny and gage advance when whacks takes a superflex off the top through some lightubes etc. not sure about the finish on that one. that could be the wrong finish., but correct winners.
Freakshow vs. Mad Man Pondo vs. Viper````pondo and freakshow advance.never saw a viper match but he put on a good showing and hung in there with those 2 with no problems.
freakshow just walked into the lobby of the hotel as im typing this.
ELECTRIFIED TUBES. CJ Otis vs Darin Childs vs Lucid------luicid weighs like 130 pounds and is destroyed. i saw him walking around after the show so he must be tough because he took some devestating moves.
after the match cj went nuts and started smashing light tubes that didnt break. id hate to see how pissed hed be if he lost.
ego fantastico vs mr insanity with billy graham*******both graham and toby come out in masks and are pretending to be luchadoors and messing with ego. the ref make thenm take off the masks and the match starts. the roh tag champs age of the fall jimmy jacobs and tyler black run in and attack both. they then challenge any tag team to a match. toby accepts and then ego joins him------ego taps to a jacobs submission hold
the naptown dragons vs each other Drake Younger vs. "Diehard" Dustin Lee vs. Scotty Vortekz******drake is eliminated when put through a barbed wire board......great match. they killed each other, and very fitting for the main event.
great 1st night overall. probably the best first night yet. it was calling for rain from 7-10 but not one drop. a great night in every way. not to hot and not too cold
it was announced that on monday mickie knuckles is signing her tna contract.
i asked mickie about the using her name and she said that since mickie knuckles is her legit name that she cannot use it. with the contract she is allowed to wrestle anywhere but the wwe so it wont affect any independent stuff.
dysfuntion and buzz jones were the only one who were not there (necro cancelled earlier in the week due to family issues with his baby) and were not really missed.
ian rotten wrestling went over great with the crowd, which was a much better idea then putting somebody in that shouldnt be in a death match tourney
Womens Afternoon Show
Rachal Summerlyn defaeted Annie Social in a short match with thumbtacks spread through the ring.
Mickie Knuckles defeated glasses jones in a barbed wire corners unlucky 13 staple gun match very good match especialy since it was jones first match ever. she hung in with mickie till the end
Rebecca Payne defeated Monique by pinfall after a ddt, but it wa sbasically by knockout because monigue was totally knocked out cold. there wa a spot on a ladder where monigue hit the table not so good an dit didnt break.
after intermission some guy named mike levey came out to the ring and called out ian and demanded he be in the death match tourney . ian said ok but that he wasnt in the king, but he woudl be given a bye in the queen and his opponient was mickie. not sure exactly who this guy is but hes been emailing real wrestlers try ing to get booke don death matches when hes basically a yarder. mickie hit him with some good shots and he no sold her and then punched her in the eye causing a huge bump and possibly a black eye so she beat the I have a potty mouth out of him. after the match tank got in the ringa nd curbed stomped him on a barbed wire ladder, then devon moore and tank did a curbstomp top rope double stomp to him on the barbed wire ladder. devon them superkicked him so hard that i dont knwo how he wa sstil concious. ian came out and beat the I have a potty mouth out of him also while telling him that he was astupid I have a potty mouth for no selling and gave mickie a huge bump on her forhaed when she has to be on tv on monday. then pondo, rollin hard, john calvin rotten, and probably some more took turns trying to beat a clue into this guy. it didnt work. thsi wa sthe worst (and well deserved) beating the crowd ever saw. at the end of the show ian told the crowd that he told the yarder that he would bring him back and the guy actually thanked him, like he was serious. the whole crwod was thrilled to see this happen to a backyard wanna be. it was great!

Rebecca Payne defeated mickie knuckles to become the 2008 queen of the death match. a great and completly brutal match by both. it ended with rebecca ddting mickie through a barbed wire board, so much that they had to cut her out of the wire. rebecca wa sbleeding pretty good from the head and covered in blood and had a big gash on her hand and still came out and took pics with the crowd. when told that it was a great match she was very appreciative and humble and reminded me of drake younger after his barfoot thumbtack match with jc baily that made hima s a death match wrestler.

Wow, Unbelieveable night of action. Best deathmatch tournament I have been too. Crazy crazy final. I was hoping Havoc won but Moore deserved the victory. Results:

Devon Moore beat Danny Havoc in an unbelievable championship match consisting of 200 lighttubes, barbed wire ropes, two tables and a Scaffold. Crazy spot off the scaffold thru two tables for the win.
Great, Great night of deathmatch action, if you weren't in Sellersburg at this show, you missed out! Pick-up the DVD, well worth it!
